Playbook demand? Still too early to tell.
Today Playbook announced the price and launch date for its Playbook tablet computer. Will these information help us to understand the potential demand of Playbook?
Yes but not so much. RIM seems doing the right thing on making its tablet price competitive. But pricing is only one of the many factors that will impact the demand. Some most important things such as user experiences, apps, battery life etc are still largely unknown. At this point, I'm afraid nobody can write a full review on Playbook because its simply not there yet.
Without seeing and playing with the actual final product, it could be very difficult to make meaningful demand prediction.
